Unfortunatelly I haven't found a good way to get rid or out of those. :\
I think the best way to look at it is do what you can, cause your work is good, so is mine. So I say you and I, and everyone else that get's that way, just keep working, cause someone likes it, and that's all that matters!

Welcome to Flavor Country!
We are all at different places on our artistic journey -- that's just the way it is. Looking coldly at the areas that need improvement is worthwhile, but avoiding the death spiral of self-criticism is necessary too. A drink and a nap isn't a bad idea!
I mean when I draw, I tend to draw almost the same pose-- frontal full view. And I wonder if I am good enough to draw other poses.
Also, I compare myself to other artists... some of which I don't like due to bad histories... and some of these people are good and I will admit, I get envious.
Sometimes I just draw to get a concept in my head down on paper.. or to make myself feel better.
Don't worry yourself... in my opinion, there is no superior style... only different levels.
I regaurd you in the higher up levels. Infact, you're one of the people I look up to.
Don't beat yourself up, if you feel as if you must improve, then try something which will be a challenge for you artistically.

What is it you said to the kid? It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward...
You'll always find someone "better" in your eyes; but art is so subjective, in the eye of the beholder. Someone else may think that you are better than that you compare yourself to.
I sometimes wonder myself why I am not painting these so-called masterful paintings that I see around here. I know I can do it but what exactly would it prove? Just because I paint like a popular artist doesn't mean that it will make me better. The only thing it will do is make my art theirs. Thus killing what style I had and whatever mark I had hope of making in the world.
In my humble opinion, your work is fine as is. Sure you can try some more poses or add more details to your lines; but brother - I tell you this from the heart, leave your art alone. It is definitive in itself and style. From a thousand illustrations I can tell what is YOURS.
Just look around without your art cap on someday. Look at some conceptual works, that painterly photoshop texture brush stuff, or maybe the infamous anime, and tell me you know who did what. It is damn hard.
As good ole' Mr. Rogers would say - be yourself, you are your own unique person and theres no one else like you.
P.S. Keep drawing or I'll bust you across the forehead with a fresh salmon.

David, David... DAVID!
This happens to ALL of us bro!
Browse DA as a source of inspiration, fun & fanboy indulgence and don't let self doubt get in the way.
Your art is kick ace bro and given your popularity on DA... it is safe to say MANY MANY MANY others think that as well..!
Given the comments that have been posted already, you are not alone in your feelings either.
There really is NOTHING to hold you back artistically, except yourself.
No one can make you believe that, so it is up to you to KNOW that your art is inspiring to others and a source of enjoyment beyond what your feelings about it are.
Keep doing what YOU do and don't worry what any one else is doing artistically.
You are you and that is that!
I hope what was said here makes sense to ya and that you will put any doubts OUT of your mind... where they belong.
Rock on dood!!!!

"What the fedge?" - Grant Wilson (Ghost Hunters)
You have no idea what lies behind someone's "success." Talent? Years of hard work? Decades of plain old drudge work? A BFA? An MFA? An apprenticeship with someone stellar? Work experience at WB or Disney? Daily grinding out 100 pieces of crap to find that one good sketch to post?
There's no way of knowing, just by looking at someone's work. So, obey Chuck Jones: Don't compare.
